Applications are invited for these popular two-day clinical leadership programmes for Resident Doctors and Consultants, with talks, workshops, shared learning and networking designed to meet the ever-changing needs of the sector and the wider NHS.
The courses are being held at The King’s Fund, Cavendish Square, London, with the course for Resident Doctors on 9th-10th December, and the course for Consultants on 10th-11th December. The organisers of this event are grateful to pharma companies for their generous support with an unrestricted educational grant. This year’s course programmes have been developed by a specially convened Faculty. Topics include NHS structures, interview practice, burnout, adapting to change, establishing new services and physician leadership. CPD from the RCP is being sought.
The ‘SPARROWS’ course is primarily aimed at specialty trainees in GUM and HIV/ID in their final 18 months of training, but SRH trainees would also find the course of great benefit. The ‘EAGLES’ course is for GUM, HIV/ID and SRH Consultants who hold, or who are about to embark on a management role.
The courses are funded but subject to selective entry and places are strictly limited. For further details and an application form please contact Fiona at CW+ fiona.muir@cwplus.org.uk
