BASHH Bitesize
The BASHH/BHIVA sustainable healthcare SIG are hosting an online screening of this eye-opening film detailing what is happening with the climate and nature and what it means for everyday life in the UK. The Briefing features leading health expert Prof Hugh Montgomery OBE and examines how climate and ecological disruption increasingly affect public health, heat stress, infectious disease risk, food security, mental health and healthcare system resilience. Given the pressures already facing health services, we believe it is important that health care providers are part of informed dialogue. Following the film, there will be a structured discussion focused on implications for our community.
