As part of our workstream work we are developing role profiles for nurses across the different levels of practice and mapping those onto our STI Foundation qualifications. We have made great progress with service support workers (Band 2-3), Nursing Associates and Assistant Practitioners (band 4), entry level registered nurses (band 5).

We have begun work on enhance level practice (band 6 and 7), but at the last meeting it was clear that this was proving to be difficult due to differing expectations across services in the UK and at the different banding.

We agreed at the last virtual meeting that a face-to-face away day would be the best way forward and would like to invite all workstream members to join this meeting. The expectation of this away day is that at the end of the session we will have co-created a clear draft of the expectations for enhanced clinical practice in Integrated Sexual Health. This will then be circulated wider for comments and agreement and will then be mapped onto the STIF qualifications.

Please note this meeting will be in-person only, there will be no provision for online attendance.

  • Travel Costs will be covered by BASHH
