Report on BASHH's Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) review

We are excited to introduce the report on BASHH’s Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI) review.

The review was carried out independently through 2024-25 by Purple Pen Research and Evaluation Consulting with the support and input of members of BASHH’s Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Review Advisory Group.

Recognising the value of the diversity in our community of practice is fundamental to advancing excellence in genitourinary medicine, sexual health and HIV care. This review is the start of a process and has come at a pivotal time for BASHH as we embark on a new chapter in our operating model.

We now have the opportunity to embed actions and principles from this report into our strategic plan and operational framework, and we will take steps to use this as a springboard for future review, reflection and adaptation.
