Following the recent publication of a cross-sector consensus statement in response to the growing monkeypox outbreak, other organisations and individuals are being encouraged to add their signature to join the call for urgent action to prevent Monkeypox (MPX) becoming endemic in the UK.

We are urging the Government and Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to provide further resources and funding to enable health systems to respond to this latest public health emergency. Latest figures suggest there are over 1,700 MPX cases in the UK – therefore early action is needed to prevent future outbreaks.  

Your support will be added to the consensus statement – further details and next steps on the consensus statement and related activity will be shared via the webpages and social media channels of supporting organisations.
