Public Health England (PHE) has published a new resources toolkit to support the evaluation of interventions or projects in sexual health, reproductive health and HIV services (SH, RH & HIV).
Public Health England (PHE) has published a new resources toolkit to support the evaluation of interventions or projects in sexual health, reproductive health and HIV services (SH, RH & HIV).
The toolkit comprises of:
- An introductory guide
- Evaluation workbook and report template
- List of current standards and metrics in SH, RH & HIV
The resources are written primarily for practitioners interested in the evaluation of interventions in SH, RH & HIV services.
The introductory guide will be a useful first step for anyone new to the topic of evaluation or those wishing to refresh their knowledge of evaluation approaches. It is essential reading for those wishing to apply an evaluation framework to their project, service innovation or intervention.
The evaluation workbook contains proformas and guidance to support effective evaluation of interventions in SH, RH & HIV services, while the menu of output/outcome measures contains a list of standards and metrics that can be used as indicators to use as part of the evaluation of a specific project or intervention.
