New Report: Mapping the Provision of HIV Pre Exposure Prophylaxis in the UK

BASHH has convened a multidisciplinary working group to provide national leadership and share best practice in PrEP delivery. As part of this, a UK-wide survey of Level 3 Genitourinary Medicine clinic leads was conducted in April 2024.

The new report, authored by the BASHH PrEP Working Group, sets out the survey findings alongside recommendations to improve PrEP access and equity across the UK.

We would like to thank everyone from NHS sexual health services who kindly gave their time and shared their experiences as part of our survey.

The findings will also be presented at HIV Prevention England’s event Improving PrEP Access Among Marginalised Communities on Wednesday 17 September.
