Education chair

Dr Ashini Fox graduated from the University of Cambridge, UK in 2002. She is a Consultant Physician specializing in GU Medicine/HIV at Nottingham University Hospital and is the departmental Clinical lead for HIV. She has been a STIF Course director for many years including being course director for STIF Lusaka in June 2017. She was Chairperson of the STIF Competency working group (March 2014 - April 2017) and has been involved in developing the STIF Competency portfolio since its inception in 2009.

She has a Masters degree in Medical Education from the University of Nottingham and is the Training Programme Director for GU Medicine for the East Midlands. She is a member of the GUM Specialist Advisory committee. She is currently the Chair of the BASHH Education committee and previously served as the honorary secretary (2010-2013).
