Developing World Class Sexual Health Services with Patient & Public Engagement

What is the PPI Panel?
The PPI Panel will include members of the public sitting alongside sexual health professionals.
We want members of the public who join this panel to be as representative as possible of the people using our services. Some people will have already used sexual health services others will come from communities where there is often great need of sexual health services.

Dr Jan Clarke (Chair)

The PPI Panel meets 3 times per year in Central London to comment on guidelines developed to improve sexual health services and training programmes that are provided to improve the quality of services.

Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire for GU Clinics

A questionnaire to specifically assess satisfaction with genitourinary medicine services has been developed and can be downloaded below. The questionnaire is based on 5 main themes which were identified following a systematic review, focus groups and individual patient interviews. The survey has undergone cognitive testing and piloting to assure validity in a GU clinic setting.

A copyright form needs to be completed before using the questionnaire, although there is no charge for its use. The copyright form should be returned to jan.harding@uhb.nhs.uk.
