Dr Andy Williams trained at the University of Bristol Medical School, graduating in 2002. He moved to London in 2003 to pursue a career in GU/HIV Medicine. He worked initially in the Lydia and Lloyd clinics at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospitals and subsequently went on to complete his general medical training at King's College Hospital and gain his MRCP.
He returned to GUM/HIV, working at Mildmay Hospital and at the Royal London Hospital before starting as a new style Specialty Trainee in Genitourinary Medicine and HIV on the East London rotation in October 2008.
