Applications are invited for LAT posts at ST3 level in Genitourinary Medicine working at Sandyford, the integrated specialist service for sexual, reproductive and emotional health for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. See www.sandyford.org.

The Sandyford is one of the largest such services in Europe and covers a population of 1.1 million people. The appointee will gain experience in all aspects of sexual health including the diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted infections, provision of the full range of contraception, and of HIV testing.

This post holds educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and provides suitable experience for individuals who wish to pursue a career in medicine or general practice or gynaecology. Prior experience in Genitourinary Medicine or a related specialty is not required but would be advantageous.

To practice medicine in the UK you need to hold both GMC registration and a licence to practice.
