Curriculum for Specialist Registrars
The new curriculum has been approved by the Specialist Training Authority (STA) and came into effect 1 January 2003. All Specialist Registrars appointed after this date must follow the new curriculum. The curriculum can be viewed on the Joint Committee on Higher Medical Training website at www.jchmt.org.uk/

Additional Training in Clinical Infection [update 20/11/03]
The additional training in clinical infection for Specialist Registrars in Genitourinary Medicine has now been agreed by the JCHMT. The curriculum for this additional training is shown here. The training time can be up to 12 months (but may be shorter) and the programme for each individual SpR needs to be agreed by the local programme director and the Deanery. This training will extend the CCST date by whatever length of time the training is undertaken. Funding for this additional training needs to be discussed with the local programme director and the Deanery
